Who is the She?

Hello everyone, another good day! I can (almost) not believe this is already my third post. It still feels strange that I can be referred to as a blogger from having little or no presence on social media. Oh the foolish things of this world! Who is the She of Rejuvenated Life by a She? And why does she feel compelled to share information on healthy lifestyle? My name is Titilola. I am neither a Nutritionist nor do I have or am i working towards a qualification in a food related course. I am your regular girl next door who had High Blood Pressure(HBP) and ate her way back to good health. I went through the motions of being warned to watch my blood pressure (I could not relate to it), to suffering from tension headaches, to being told point blank that I was headed towards a heart attack or stroke.   Well the possibility of a stroke sure got my attention , especially as I had started losing my memory (which was my most valuable asset at a point in time),   vision had b...

Olive Oil

It’s been a week since my first post and I’m super excited to put up another one. A special shout out to all who read my first post, THANK YOU! 💖 Please, let us always be mindful that the journey of a thousand miles, begins with one step. A secret to staying on the course of a good lifestyle is to take a step at a time. Do not attempt to reach your destination in a day, remember we are on a lifelong journey. How to identify the real deal…… The Extra Virgin Olive Oil is the Cadillac of olive oil. Extra Virgin Olive Oil, EVOO for short is made from pure, cold pressed olives whereas the other types of olive oil may include processed oils and still be labelled as Olive Oil. Do note that anytime I refer to olive oil in my posts, I mean the extra virgin olive oil. That is the one that has the a...

A Changed Lifestyle

Have you ever been advised by a doctor to “change your lifestyle” because you were unwell? And did you wonder what in the world could probably translate to that very common but vague phrase? I heard that from Doctors a number of times but didn’t quite do much about it because I had no clue of what changes would qualify as a “Changed Lifestyle”. Well, I didn’t do much until the dangers of not doing much became very apparent, to say the least. When I started taking meaningful steps in my bid to have good health, It dawned on me that a changed lifestyle is not a temporary change to recover from ill health but a lifelong journey to live well for the rest of one’s life. This so called lifestyle includes what we eat, drink, wear, think, read and much more. Food is a very important part of our wellbeing, if not the most important. To eat healthy, it requires us becoming Foodies. Foodies, not in the sense of how much food we consume but in the knowledge of what we eat. One must know what is go...
